Milk Handler licenses
There are two types of licenses:Milk Handler – Processor; and Milk Handler – Distributor. A processor is one who buys bulk milk for manufacturing into finished products. A distributor is one who regularly operates motor vehicles on routes predominantly for sales of milk and dairy products to wholesale customers.
The Department has four types of Milk Handler License application forms.
1. New Processor – for those who have not been licensed before.
2. Renewal Processor – for those who are currently licensed and are
renewing every two years, as required by law.
3. New Distributor – for those who have not been licensed before.
4. Renewal Distributor – for those who are currently licensed and
are renewing every two years, as required by law.
